This festival is first of its kind in Syria. It has started August 10th and will last until September 10th.
The Festival includes many interesting activities like "The Open International Golf Tournament" ; artistic and cultural exhibitions; musical evenings as well as promotional opened market. The festival's activities will be going silmutaniously in almost all Syrian cities.
A special festival will be held in Palmyra on September the 27th to celebrate the International Tourism Day. This will be the first of a series of festivals that will be organized by the Syrian Ministry of Tourism under the title of "The Silk Road Festivals". All visitors to Palmyra on the 27th of September are invited to attend the special ceremony organized by the Ministry
The museum of Sursock organizes in Beirut an exhibition to commemorate the French artist Maurice de Toulouse Lautrec between 03 & 21 September 2002.
Al-Hariri foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture organizes at Khan El-Franje in Saida (Lebanon) a painting exhibition that illustrates the works of young Lebanese and French artists. This comes on the sidelines of Lebanon's preparations to host the Francophone summit that will be held in Lebanon next month.
